Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
1. Introduction
FocusPost is committed to protecting your privacy. Our application runs entirely in your browser, and 100% of the image processing is done locally via WebAssembly. Your camera feed never touches any server, and no video data is ever recorded.
2. Data Collection
Local Data: Your focus reports and historical data are stored 100% locally in your browser's IndexedDB. Our servers do not have access to your health and productivity data.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we only collect your email address to identify your account. We do not access or store any other personal information from your Google account.
Device Identification: We generate a unique device identifier based on your browser and system characteristics to manage license activations and membership status. This identifier is stored locally and is not shared with third parties.
3. Data Storage
All processing and storage happens locally in your browser. We use IndexedDB for storing your focus history and reports, and localStorage for storing authentication tokens and device identifiers.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the authentication flow. We do not receive or store any additional data from Google beyond your email address.
5. Security
Your data is protected by your browser's security mechanisms. Since all data is stored locally, you have full control over your information. Clearing your browser data will remove all FocusPost data from your device.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
